The Alpe d’Huez weekend concluded in a blaze of glory on Saturday as the dual moguls competition took center stage, featuring an intense battle between Canadian skiers Mikael Kingsbury and Louis-David Chalifoux. The three-day freestyle skiing extravaganza showcased the pinnacle of talent in moguls action, captivating audiences with breathtaking performances on the slopes.

 

Mikael Kingsbury, a seasoned contender in the world of freestyle skiing, secured the bronze medal and 120 World Cup podium of his career after a fierce small final clash with compatriot Louis-David Chalifoux. The competition unfolded with a level of intensity that left spectators on the edge of their seats, and Kingsbury emerged triumphant, clinching the third spot on the men’s podium.

 

Kingsbury’s performance at Alpe d’Huez adds another feather to his cap, as he continues to build an impressive record for the season. With three victories and two additional top-3 finishes.

 

In the dual moguls rankings, Kingsbury stands tall, leading the way after two events. Kingsbury has demonstrated remarkable skill and consistency throughout the weekend

 

As the Alpe d’Huez chapter concludes, the moguls tour now sets its sights on Bakuriani, Georgia (GEO), where the final two competitions of the December series are scheduled to take place.
