📢 End of an Era: Thank You, Simon d’Artois! 🏔️🎿

The Calgary Halfpipe World Cup February 14th-15th will feel different this year, as one of Canadas greatest won’t be at the start gate. @simondartois , a true pioneer in halfpipe skiing, has officially retired.

From X Games gold to a FIS Crystal Globe, World Championship silver, and two Olympic appearances, Simon’s fearless style and groundbreaking tricks have left a lasting impact on freestyle skiing. His performances elevated Canada to the world stage and inspired generations of athletes.

Now embracing a new adventure as a father, Simon shares:
🗣️ “Being a dad has given me a new perspective on life. While skiing will always be a part of who I am, my family is now my main focus.” ❤️

Simon, your presence will be deeply missed in competition, but your legacy will live on.

La Coupe du monde de halfpipe à Calgary, les 14 et 15 février, aura une saveur particulière cette année, car l’un des plus grands skieurs canadiens ne sera pas au départ. Simon d’Artois, véritable pionnier du ski halfpipe, a officiellement pris sa retraite.

De l’or aux X Games à un Globe de cristal de la FIS, en passant par l’argent aux Championnats du monde et deux participations olympiques, le style audacieux et les figures révolutionnaires de Simon ont marqué à jamais le ski acrobatique. Ses performances ont propulsé le Canada sur la scène mondiale et inspiré des générations d’athlètes.

Aujourd’hui, Simon se lance dans une nouvelle aventure en tant que père et partage :
🗣️ « Devenir papa m’a donné une nouvelle perspective sur la vie. Le ski fera toujours partie de moi, mais ma famille est désormais ma priorité. » ❤️
