Miha was first introduced to skiing at the young age of two, followed by the world of freestyle skiing at six. It’s safe to say that Miha comes from a deeply rooted freestyle family. His father, Nicolas Fontaine, World Champion, four times Olympian and Canadian Ski Hall of Famer would bring young Miha to the water ramps while coaching the Canadian Team.

While Miha knows his aerial skiing history, he’s also a dedicated athlete who grew up skiing a mix of moguls and aerials where he eventually stuck to what he knows best. After experiencing competitive success with the Quebec Aerial Team, Miha got invited to join the National Team in 2019.

With two World Cup starts already in the bag, Miha hopes to one day make it to the Olympic Games and follow in his father’s footsteps.
