It’s safe to say that Julien comes from a mogul skiing family. Julien grandpa can still be found on the slopes tearing up the bumps. His mother competed on the provincial team, and his father on the national team. Julien’s passion for mogul skiing runs through his veins. It feels natural for him to wait for the bumps to form at the first snowfall and to jump with joy when it comes to skiing soft bumps in the spring.
His first time on the slopes was in his mother’s belly, then in his father’s backpack and finally, he put on his first pair of skis after his first birthday. He went on to join the Mont Sainte-Anne Freestyle Ski Club at the age of 5, as did his older sister. The rest of his journey led to being selected to the Canadian Freestyle team after the 2020 NorAm circuit.
It’s his strong passion for mogul skiing that drives him to train day after day, run after run. Julien always wants to go above and beyond and is constantly setting goals for himself to improve. He looks forward to what happens next and where his progression takes him!
