When did you start skiing? How did you get started.

My whole family, including my grandparents, love skiing I was encouraged to try it as early in life as possible.  I started when I was just 3 years old on Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver.  At age 4, we moved to Squamish, BC and I started ski lessons in Whistler.  I quickly fell in love with skiing because I was able to try new things and have tons of fun with friends.

What inspired you to get into freestyle skiing? How old were you? What club did you start with?

Whenever I was on the hill, whether in lessons or with family, I would always be trying spins and flips off the side hits: I never skied in a straight line!  My parents and ski instructors saw this and asked if I wanted to try the Whistler Freestyle Development program at age 10.  I said “yes”, with no questions asked.  It was so much fun, learning new tricks, and being creative in the park…  I knew that was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

I moved up to the Freestyle Whistler Club at age 12 and I competed first within the province, then nationwide, before moving through North America; I made the BC Team at age 17.

After one year on the BC Team, I was asked to join the NextGen program at age 18

What are  your skiing career goals?

Multiple X Games medals, a Podium at the Olympic Winter Games and to inspire the next generation of Canadian skiers!

How do you spend your time off the slopes?

I usually spend my “non-skiing time” at the Airhouse (a trampoline facility in my hometown of Squamish) bouncing on a trampoline learning new tricks!

What are some fun facts about you that the average person wouldn’t know?

I love skateboarding and am a huge gamer:)

What is your favourite result (to date)?

I am super stoked on my 2023 Canada Games 2nd place; the whole event was fun.

Shout-outs?

Shout-out to everyone who supported me over the years!
