FIS Freestyle Ski Aerials World Cup season kicked off this weekend with back- in Shimao Lotus Mountain Ski Resort (CHN).
Felix said condition were perfect in China with some adjustments to a steeper landing. The young Canadian was happy with the outcome today and excited for tomorrow’s Team aerial event.
Aerial Head Coach Jeff Bean, said it was a very good set up for long term success and a great set up for tomorrow with a “one jump for all the marbles”. The team has a great deal of confidence for tomorrow, the men will increase the degree of difficulty for tomorrow.
At the Park City Aerial Nor Am, Canadians had a great showing against the US National Team. Up and coming athletes with Miha Fontaine (son of Nicholas Fontaine, Canadian 5 time World Cup Champion) winning the Bronze. Marion Thenault, Canada’s rising female aerial star also won bronze in today’s competition.
