Quinn Dawson

When did you start skiing? How did you get started?

I started skiing when I was around three and was first taught by my parents at Canada Olympic Park.

What inspired you to get into freestyle skiing? How old were you? What was your first club?

As I grew to like skiing, my parents enrolled me the Southern Alberta Freestyle Ski Club at Sunshine Village and that is where I began freestyle skiing. I was around 6 when I first joined this ski club and started by skiing Big Mountain until I was older, I then began to focus on different freestyle disciplines.

What are your skiing career goals?

I wan to medal at a World Cup.

How do you spend your time off the slopes?

When I’m not skiing, I like to mountain bike as well as hike the Rocky Mountains.

What is your favourite result to date?

Winning the Val Saint Come NorAm in 2023.
