Flavie first put skis on at six years old as she had just moved into a home a few minutes away from Le Relais ski center. Three years later, she switched to snowboarding. At the time, her younger brother had already started freestyle skiing. Seeing all the cool tricks her brother was learning, Flavie decided to join the freestyle ski club at 11 years old, where she began training aerials, moguls and slopestyle. She really liked the three disciplines but had the most ease in aerials.
Fast forward to two years later; the young athlete was already training 20 hours a week for what had quickly become her passion. As Flavie was improving, Nicolas Fontaine saw her potential and recruited her on the Aerials Quebec team at only 14 years old.
At 17 years old, Flavie made the national team and competed on the 2020-2021 World Cup tour. She is very excited for the upcoming season and is ready to face new challenges.
