Brenden Kelly grew up in the small town of Pemberton, BC, just north of Whistler, where he began skiing at the age of 3 and has had a passion for it ever since. He was always drawn to the jumps, breaking the rules of the ski school and doing his first backflip on snow at the age of 8, be it, unsuccessfully.
Growing up skiing in Whistler, Brenden had the opportunity to try out all aspects of ski sports before finally setting his sights on moguls.
Brenden developed through the Whistler Blackcomb club, BC Team, Canadian Sport Institute, and now Canadian World Cup/World Championship Team. He has been pursuing excellence in mogul skiing since the age of 11 and has shown incredible progress in the last two years. Finishing the 2020-2021 season tied for 10th in the World Cup standings, he hopes to continue to build on his progress and to one day stand on the Olympic podium.
