Benjamin Lynch

Born in Dublin, Ireland, Ben waited until he was in Canada to start skiing at the age of 3 on Grouse Mountain with his three older brothers. After skiing on a family vacation to Sun Peaks at the ripe age of 9 Ben was inspired to start freestyle skiing when he saw older kids in the park and wanted to give park skiing a try.

As a skier and in life, Ben is talented and ambitious. Ben’s career goals are to podium in a World Cup Half-Pipe event, be featured in a large film project and to have as much fun as possible while creating life-lasting memories.

Ben is currently studying business at Capilano University where his favourite subjects are math and physics: he also enjoys English and History. When Ben is not on the slopes or at school, he enjoys doing other outdoor activities like skateboarding and biking. Ben’s interests outside of sport include business and photography.

Ben would like to give a shout-out to his parents and friends for making his dream of skiing on the national team possible, and always supporting him to achieving his dreams.
