Quincy Barr, an 18-year-old halfpipe skier from Calgary, got into freestyle skiing at 12 after trying out the park with friends. Starting with Winsport Academy, he skied with the Calgary Freeriderz until making the Freestyle Canada NextGen Team. His main goals are to compete in the Olympics and X Games, while keeping skiing enjoyable. Off the slopes, he skateboards, studies at National Sport School, and plays frisbee golf. In his downtime, he enjoys fishing and golfing. He appreciates the support from his friends, family, and sponsor Fresh Skis.
