When did you start skiing? How did you get started?

I started skiing when I was 2 because of my parents’ interest in the sport. They’ve always been really into all mountain sports and wanted to share those experiences as a family.

What inspired you to get into freestyle skiing? How old were you? What was your first club?

I was inspired to start freestyle skiing when I was six years old after I watching the 2010 Olympic moguls event on TV where I saw Jenn Heil win a silver medal. A few years later I enrolled into the freestylers program at Whistler Blackcomb, and a couple of years after that I joined the Blackcomb Freestyle Club (now known as Freestyle Whistler) and found my passion for moguls.

What are some of your career goals?

I want to compete on the World Cup tour and see my skiing progress improve each year.

How do you spend your time off the slopes?

When I’m not skiing, I like to stay active and spend time in the mountains. In the summer I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, climbing, and road biking. In the winter when I’m not training or competing, I like to ski tour and freeski as much as possible.

What is a fun fact about you that the average person wouldn’t know?

I can speak Spanish.

What are your favourite results to date?

2nd place in Duals Moguls at the 2023 Deer Valley Noram as well as my 4th place in Single Moguls at the 2023 Val St.-Côme NorAm.

Shout-outs?

I’d like to give a shout-out to my parents for everything they have done for me to help me get this far in my sport as well as everything else in life.
