Louis-David started skiing at the age of three and decided to start mogul skiing on the Mont-Sainte-Anne ski club at eight years old after moving from Oakville, Ontario, to Québec City.

Watching Alexandre Bilodeau’s Vancouver 2010 gold medal performance caught Louis-David’s interest in mogul skiing. Not long after, both Loui-David and his brother decided to join the local freestyle club.

Louis-David’s passion for the sport quickly grew throughout the years, and the results followed, being selected on the Québec team at 14 years old. After one year on the team’s development program and three years on the performance program, Louis-David was selected on the national team after working hard through a season with no competitions.
