Gabriel started skiing with his parents at Val Saint-Côme at the young age of a year and a half. When Gabriel turned nine, he caught sight of future national team members Marc-Antoine Gagnon and Pascal-Olivier Gagné skiing with the Val Saint-Côme mogul club. Their talent inspired him to join the team the following year.

Gabriel was amazed by the type of flips they were doing while skiing and wanted to be like them. His goal was to one day ski and compete with them. Gabriel had the pleasure to join Gagnon and Gagné on the national team for a few years before they retired from their successful competitive careers.

In 2016, Gabriel’s career came full circle when he was able to compete in his first-ever FIS World Cup at his home resort, Val Saint-Côme. Since then, Gabriel has competed at his first World Champs in 2021 and is hoping to attend his first Olympic Games next winter.
