Gabriel Dion, an 18-year-old aerial skier, joined the Freestyle Canada NextGen Aerial national team in April 2024. He began skiing at the age of 4, initially balancing it with hockey. At the encouragement of David Fontaine (Nicolas Fontaine’s brother) who was Gabrial’s next door neighbor, Gabriel transitioned to the sport six years ago. His aspirations include competing on the World Cup tour, winning medals, and eventually participating in the Olympics. When not skiing, Gabriel enjoys playing hockey and has a passion for cars and music. He thanks his parents, sponsors, and coaches for their support.
