Dylan started skiing at the age of 3 years old mainly because his parents wanted to keep him and his brother active but also because his parents saw the enjoyment it brought to them.

Jumping around the hill came naturally to Dylan and so joining the Fernie Freestyle Club was the obvious pathway. That’s where the young skier started to really enjoy flying above the ground whether it is on a rail, off a cliff or launching a jump. Since that time, Dylan has experienced life on the NextGen team and had very fond memories of the Canada Games, his podiums in Canadian Open Tours and Provincials in the younger years. But what he values the most is the personal growth of his abilities and tricks.

When he is not jumping off a rail or getting some air in the pipe, Dylan and his very active family like to take part in any kind of outdoor activity like triathlons, mountain biking or boating but it’s on the slopes that you can find them most of the time!

A fun fact about Dylan is that he has taken quite the liking to the old ways of music with vinyl and record players and he is always looking to grow the collection and understanding of the classics. Now that is awesome!
