Cole Carey, a 19-year-old moguls skier from Panorama, BC, has been on the national team since the 2024-25 season. He started skiing at just two years old, influenced by his parents’ passion for the sport and the proximity of Panorama to his home. At the age of seven, Cole was drawn to freestyle skiing, finding it more appealing than racing, and began his journey with Panorama Freestyle club.
His aspirations include competing in World Cups and the Olympics, with a desire to travel the world for training and competitions. When not on the slopes, Cole enjoys volunteering at the Calgary Stampede during the summer, engaging in activities like boating, surfing, golfing, and camping.
An interesting fact about Cole is that he is the first fourth-generation volunteer at the Calgary Stampede, and if he weren’t mogul skiing, he would likely pursue a career in Chuckwagon Racing (WPCA) or something related to horses.
Cole extends his gratitude to his family, including his parents, sister, grandmother, girlfriend Zoe, and all his friends and supporters who have contributed to his journey in skiing.
