Brayden was introduced to skiing at the young age of 3 through his father. While living in Collingwood, it was standard for everyone to be a skier due to the race environment of the Escarpment. Brayden began his ski career in the Blue Mountain Jozo Weider Race Club at the age of 6. As he became more invested in all parts of skiing, Brayden found interest in the park. At first sight, he was in love with the environment and community that the park and pipe revolved around.

Even though the minimum age requirement for entry in the park was 8 years old at Blue Mountain, Brayden would always find a way to poach to ultimately gain experience on the rails and jumps. Brayden officially began his park skiing career on his 8th birthday when he joined the Blue Mountain Park and Pipe Team.

From the very start, Brayden always looked up to freeski pros such as Bobby Brown and Tom Wallisch and strived to be like them. The learning process of skiing and the journey of developing as an athlete has always been enjoyable for Brayden.

During his provincial ski career, Brayden moved through many different club teams until finally getting recruited to Team Ontario at 14 years old. During this time, Brayden had the honour to ski at the 2020 Youth Olympic Games. This proved to be an amazing experience for him, and gave Brayden the opportunity to see some faces of the athletes he will be competing against for the rest of his ski career.

Brayden was invited to join Team Canada in 2022 and is looking forward to the road ahead.
