Berkley has been on skis for as long as she can remember. She began mogul skiing at the age of 7 years old. After taking skiing lessons for some time, she had to decide between downhill racing and moguls. Having little interest for racing and one of her sisters already being in moguls, she opted for the latter. Berkley then went straight into the Jumps and Bumps program at Beaver Valley Ski Club. Living in Whistler with her dog Luna and on the board of the Sarah Burke Foundation

Berkley fell in love with the sport after the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver when she saw Jennifer Heil and Alex Bilodeau compete. She instantly knew that she wanted to represent Canada at the Games one day.

Among the results, Berkley is the most proud of is her 1st place at the Val St-Cรดme Nor-Am in 2017 and her bronze medal at the 2015-2016 Junior Worlds Championships in Are, Sweden.
