Being an employee for the local Calgary ski hill, Calgary Olympic Park, Daniel’s dad introduced him to skiing at the young age of two. Daniel would go skiing every day after school and fell in love with the sport of mogul skiing from there. He joined freestyle programs at Canadian Olympic Park (COP) and eventually moved up to the Winsport mogul team.

One of Daniel’s career goals is to win the Olympics one day,  but he also wants to help spread the joy of mogul skiing to as many people as possible. Daniel aspires to motivate more people to enjoy all aspects of skiing moguls by sharing his passion for the sport. When he is off the slopes, Daniel works on his YouTube channel and photography, sharing his journey as an athlete on Team Canada.
