I skied moguls because it was fun. My best results are Fernie World Cup 1st, Inawashiro World Cup 2nd (both 2004).
I went to my first Jr Nationals when I was 13. I had never really competed before but placed 3rd there.
I retired as an athlete in 2006 (Canadian National Team) after being unable to rehab an injury in time to compete that World Cup season. For the last 4-5 years of my competitive career I knew I would transition to coaching. I was lucky to get a position with the Canadian Team immediately and work with some incredible coaches.
I went from Canadian Women’s assistant coach (NorAm) 2006-2010 to Women’s Canadian Head Coach (2011 season). I then went to Russia to help lead that program their National Team from 2011-2016. After that I worked with BC/AB & ON Provincial Teams a bit as well as running coaching clinics for Freestyle Canada. 2017/18 was spent with AB team, 2018/19 back with Canada.
