@dylandeschamps_ continued his strong start to the 2024/25 season World Cup season, earning a bronze medal in the Big Air event at the Beijing Snow Sports Center on Sunday. Competing in the best two-of-three jump format, he opened with a strong first jump but faltered on his second, putting the pressure on him to deliver in his final attempt. Rising to the occasion, Deschamps secured a combined score of 181 points. Canadians @maxmoffattt , @mr.mulvihill and @morkzzz all competed.

The 2024/25 @fisfreestyle Freestyle World Cup season began with an emotional triumph for Canadian mogul skiing icon @mikaelkingsbury, who clinched his 11th victory on the challenging Battery Run course in Ruka, Finland. With an impressive 83.90-point final run, Kingsbury once again demonstrated why is his celebrated as the "King of Moguls," earning his 91st career World Cup win.

This victory held special meaning for the 31-year-old, as it marked his first World Cup medal as a father. Kingsbury’s three-month-old son, Henrik, and his family were in Finland to share the memorable moment – a fitting start to what promises to be an exciting season.

La saison 2024/25 de la Coupe du monde FIS de ski acrobatique a débuté par un triomphe émouvant pour l'icône canadienne du ski de bosses, Mikaël Kingsbury, qui a décroché sa 11e victoire sur le parcours exigeant de Battery Run à Ruka, en Finlande. Avec une impressionnante performance de 83,90 points lors de la manche finale, Kingsbury a une fois de plus démontré pourquoi il est célébré comme le "Roi des bosses," remportant ainsi sa 91e victoire en Coupe du monde.

Freestyle Canada athlete @dylandeschamps_ secured

Freestyle Canada athlete @dylandeschamps_ secured a bronze medal in Big Air at the start of the 2024-2025 FIS Freeski season in Chur, Switzerland. The event took place at a city venue with a scaffolding ramp, creating an exciting atmosphere with spotlights, a light show, and music.

Deschamps, who entered the finals as the second seed, overcame a crash on his first jump. He bounced back with scores of 86.50 and 85.75 on his second and third runs, respectively, for a combined total of 172.25. This is Deschamps’ second World Cup podium finish, following his gold medal last season on the same venue. @mr.mulvihill , also competing for Canada, finished 22nd in the event.
